April 11, 2017

Disclosure: I received product for review purposes only. All opinions are my own.

Touch the Earth

I love it when a celebrity uses their status for good. Julian Lennon has been doing this for years with his White Feather Foundation and now through his new book: Touch The Earth, a magical children's picture book he wrote along with best selling author Bart Davis.

Touch the Earth is a lovely illustrated book releasing in celebration of Earth Day!

This passionate project was inspired by the white feather Julian received from his father when he was young and he includes a beautiful personal story about the feather, along with a lovely poem to accompany the release of this book: Touch The Earth.

Touch The Earth takes you on an exciting adventure on board the White Feather Flier, a magical plane that can take you anywhere you want to go, you simply push the buttons within the book to help “fly the plane.” Kids are encouraged to tilt the book in all directions, point it up in the air, or down in the water, to deliver clean water, to clean up the ocean, all while learning about the earth along the way.

The White Feather Flier's mission is to take children to places all over the world, engage them in helping to save the environment, and to teach them how to keep it clean for them and future generations.

Touch The Earth is the first book in a planned trilogy of similarly-themed picture books,
each one will be released one year apart around Earth Day.

A fun interactive children's book, everyone will enjoy!

“When a book takes you on an adventure, it's a good thing and allows you to think about something in a new way. When a book also reminds us how to treat what we have, it's even better because it’s a win win. That's exactly what Julian has done with his book . . . he's given us a Win Win.” —Whoopi Goldberg

"I've always admired Julian Lennon's singing, because for all he has seen of the world, his melodies contain such childlike wonder...his words, too. Buy this book, and his words turn into actions." -Bono
