July 30, 2018

The Craft Kingdom

Disclosure: Product was received for review purposes only. All opinions are my own.

No matter how many times we turn to the internet for craft inspiration, nothing compares to flipping through a book for craft ideas. It is a great thing to do with your children or on your own. The Craft Kingdom by Eli Maor is a great book for the budding artist and seasoned crafter, with plenty to please everyone. There is no special skills required.

The Craft Kingdom contains more than 90 DIY, crafts and art projects. Some projects require a hot glue gun, fire, scissors, and knives, so some supervision is required for some projects and young crafters. Although, as suggested by the author, any supplies can easily be substituted for ones you prefer.

There are step-by-step photographs and detailed instructions, featuring fun with colors, nature crafts, stamp making, washi tape, soap making, candle making, and more. It is a great selection of projects with beautiful results.

Each category lists the required supplies and a tutorial. Templates are also provided at the back of the book for tracing. It is beautifully laid out with gorgeous photos, fun crafts, and best of all - The author, Eli is a “crafting minimalist”, and believes in using what is all around us to create beautiful, fun crafts and DIY projects. A trip to the local craft shop is not always required. I love this book and you will, too! Enter below to win The Craft Kingdom.
