We recently enjoyed hosting a Painting Lulu Coloring Party at our home and had a leisurely afternoon of coloring fun. What a great activity to do for any age. It was always one of my favorite things to do as a child and I love getting back into it with my kids. I was hoping to encourage my son to try it more often... luckily, my daughter is already a wonderful budding artist, yet my son is taking a little more prodding. Painting Lulu is helping change that though.
Painting Lulu is a new twist on coloring and offers not only fun coloring books but also an app to take your masterpiece one step further. With the Painting Lulu app you can add embellishments to your coloring pages, and take pictures of yourself with your favorite characters and turn them into a coloring page. You can turn any picture into a coloring page. We love Painting Lulu and have had loads of fun developing our fine motor skills with their four choices of Painting Lulu Coloring Books (with more to follow), their fun app and digital crayon.
My kids and guests agreed that Painting Lulu takes coloring to a whole new level. We love the app and that we can turn any page into a coloring sheet. We also love the traditional crayons that come with the coloring books. My daughter pointed out the skin color crayon with the Barbie coloring book saying "you never see that color". We think Painting Lulu is ideal for early learners (saving you a TON of paper), yet is ideal for kids of all ages. We are looking forward to new coloring books, too! Painting Lulu works in 3 easy ways:
1. Color normally on the paper coloring books.
2. Scan one or more color paper pages from the Painting Lulu app.
3. After the image appears on your smart device, color the page on your tablet!
