Take the Pledge to Re-Connect by Disconnecting From Your Device #EyesUp #Murad

March 23, 2017

Eyesup

Disclosure: I took the EyesUp Pledge and received Murad products for review purposes only. All opinions are my own.

I am more digitally connected than ever before and as a parent, it is most important for me to choose to teach my kids by example, because kids learn more by what we do rather than by what we say! I took the pledge to be more 'Eyes Up' and turn off my device to enjoy life more with my family!

I think it is so rude when chatting with someone who constantly checks their phone! It is like they are not really there, or listening and ladies, screen time is doing more harm to our skin than we realize. I encourage you to take the pledge, too and enjoy the company of others more.

Murad, the pioneering clinical skincare brand, has launched a new campaign called: EyesUp, an initiative designed to educate people about the danger of digital-only relationships and the power of real-world human connection. Through this campaign, Murad is encouraging people around the world to go 'EyesUp' and connect with one another in real life.

A Campaign To Encourage People to Put Their Devices Down and Their Eyes Up To Connect In Person

Dr. Murad wants to encourage us all to make small changes to our day that can make a big difference to our skin and our overall well-being.
TAKE THE PLEDGE

Join me and take the pledge to go 'Eyes Up' for something or someone on EyesUp.com, whether it is to play outside with your kids or spend dinner time talking to each other, instead of staring at your device.

Watch this short, powerful video from Murad to see how the stress of technology can effect us:

About Murad

Backed by 19 unique patents and a 30-year legacy of research and clinical testing, Murad’s unique philosophy, called Connected Beauty, is a whole person approach to health and beauty that inspires people to nourish their skin, awaken their body through physical activity, “eat” their water by consuming water-rich fruits and vegetables, and be kind to their mind."

Did you know?

Stress from too much screen time can cause aging and trigger
inflammatory skin conditions, resulting in dry, red, flaky skin.
