The Globetrotters have been around since the 1920s, origining on the south side of Chicago, Illinois. Since then and over the years, they have played more than 26,000 exhibition games in 122 countries and territories and continue to play over 450 live events worldwide each year.

The Globetrotters combine athleticism, theater, and comedy while playing a serious basketball game when in possession of the ball. About 20 - 30 percent of a game is a "real" game.
