The Globetrotters have been around since the 1920s, originating on the south side of Chicago, Illinois. Since then and over the years, they have played more than 26,000 exhibition games in 123 countries and territories and continue to play over 450 live events worldwide each year. The Globetrotters combine athleticism, theater, and comedy while playing a serious basketball game when in possession of the ball. About 20 - 30 percent of a game is a "real" game.

DID YOU KNOW? Their mascot is a globe named Globie.

The roster this year has many great players, we are hoping to catch a few returning players from our first show two years ago, including, Hi-Lite Bruton, Swish Young, Mighty Mitchell, Big Easy Lofton, Thunder Law, Bull Bullard and Cheese Chisholm. We loved Hot Shot, Hoops, Zeus and Hi-Lite, all players were great! It was good to see a couple of girls on the team and the mascot Globie was silly fun!
